Coffee Pulper & Pre Grader

The disc pulper used by Bennett Brothers farm ensures the minimum of pulper nip and other bean damage.

The coffee pulper, shown on the right, removes the cherry skin and leaves behind the parchment which falls into the pre-grader where all light, diseased and damaged beans are removed.

Smout Huller

The Mill machinery Parchment delivered into the mill is sample hulled, and liquored to ensure no tainted coffee goaes into the bulk parchment stacks.

After conditioning the parchment is fed into the "Smout" huller, this removes the parchment husk in the gentlest way possible reducing heating of the bean to minimum and ensuring parchment husk does not get into the final product.

Size Grader

After hulling the green coffee is sorted by density in the Catador and by size in the grader. The grader sizes the coffee from the AAA down to the T grades.

This ensures that the Endrick customer receives a coffee free of all contaminants, and of even size and density ensuring that the Endrick coffee will roast easily, evenly, and be true to type roast after roast.
